    V.C. Bird Airport records wettest 10–11 February on record

    The 24-hour period ending 08:00 on 11 February 2026 was the wettest 10–11 February on record at V.C. Bird International Airport, according to the country’s chief climatologist.

    Dale C. S. Destin said 34.4mm (1.35in) of rain was recorded, breaking the previous record of 22.2mm set in 1981.

    Rainfall records at the airport date back to 1962.
