Human Resource Professionals of Antigua and Barbuda (HRPAB) commemorates its 15th Anniversary with a week of activities 8th – 13th February. The celebrations are being held under the theme Clear Vision, Bold Steps: Towards an Impactful Future. The week began with Church worship followed by a Luncheon and Awards Ceremony. Tribute was paid to the association’s first executive and to inaugural members who remain active in HRPAB. Special awards of appreciation were presented to Desiree Edwards, J. Arlene Martin, Lucette James, Laurie Louard, and the Antigua and Barbuda Employers’ Federation.
President of HRPAB, Dr. Miguelle Christopher, noted that the theme was a fitting one. She said it offered an opportunity for the body to reflect, re-envision its future, and determine the actions required to make a more meaningful impact in the workplace.
Other activities set for the week are a media launch of public service videos, a professional development workshop, an outreach activity, and an HRPAB Represent Day . The Association extends an invitation to all HR professionals and students of HR Management to become members. They can be contacted via email at hrpro.ab@gmail.com
