At the Premier League level, the match remained goalless until the hour mark when Shafeeq Joseph broke the deadlock for Attacking Saints in the 61st minute. However, their lead was short-lived as Shamoi Andrew equalized for Pigotts Bullets just two minutes later. The game appeared headed for a draw until Niah Brown settled the contest for Pigotts Bullets, scoring the winner in the 87th minute to secure all three points.

In third position is Old Road on 25 points, Garden Stars in fourth on 24 points while Bullets round out the top five with 22 points. Teams that are in the relegation danger zone are John Hughes, Willikies and Parham FC all having nine points. Greenbay Hoppers are likely to be relegated with only three points and just three games left in hand.
