The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) will hold a memorial service for its late Medical Director, Dr. Albert O. Duncan, MD, FACS, who passed away on November 19, 2024.

The service will take place on Sunday, January 5th, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the SLBMC South Patio.

Dr. Duncan, who served as Medical Director at SLBMC, was a board-certified surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).

The memorial service and candlelight vigil will honour his leadership and contributions to healthcare in the region.

The public is invited to attend the semiformal service to commemorate Dr. Duncan’s legacy in the medical community.
