A silver Toyota Axio that was reported missing by local rental company 108 Estate has been recovered, ending a public search for the vehicle.

The company confirmed that the Toyota Axio, registration number 4384, has been found after previously appealing to the public for help in locating it.

108 Estate had reported losing contact with the individual who rented the vehicle and said repeated attempts to reach the renter since Friday had gone unanswered. The company subsequently asked anyone with information about the car’s whereabouts to come forward.

No information has been released about where or when the vehicle was recovered, and the company has not said whether any further action will be taken.
