    VACANCY CAMPUS COUNSELLOR

    The University of the West Indies, Five Islands Campus (UWI FIC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of:

    CAMPUS COUNSELLOR

    OFFICE OF THE CAMPUS PRINCIPAL

    (Salary range: XCD$102,021.00 – XCD$109,866.00)

    The incumbent will be responsible for the support provided to students to assist them to maximise their university experience with The UWI. The counselling service supports the campus community in addressing issues or concerns through a range of activities including one-on-one and group counselling, workshops, and advocacy. Through a comprehensive, student-centered counselling approach, the Campus Counsellor provides educational assistance and structured programming to facilitate positive growth and development.

    QUALIFICATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

    • Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline required.

    • Minimum of five years’ experience in counselling or a related discipline.

    • Professional counselling experience required, in a college/university setting preferred.

    • Licensure in Mental Health Counselling preferred.

    The successful candidate will be expected to assume duties in Antigua on September 1, 2026.
