    VACANCY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    The University of the West Indies, Five Islands Campus (UWI FIC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of:

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    EXAMINATIONS UNIT

    OFFICE OF THE CAMPUS REGISTRAR

    (Salary range: XCD$32,519.65 – XCD$48,735.33)

    The successful candidate will be required to:

    • Provide administrative support to the Assistant Registrar – Examinations in the administration of the University’s policies, rules, and regulations pertaining to functions of the unit.
    • Assist with the administrative and physical arrangements involved in preparing for and conducting examinations, and support the compilation and publication of results.
    • Support the preparation for and execution of the annual Graduation Ceremonies.
    • Process requests for and issue transcripts, and assist with the printing and issuing of degree certificates.
    • Control and issue Academic Gowns.
    • Support Boards of Examiners meetings, including preparing documentation and recording minutes.
    • Assist with the preparation of final examination schedules.
    • Assist in resolving examination scheduling queries.
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Assistant Registrar – Examinations.

    Essential Qualifications and Experience:

    • Minimum of an accredited Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Educational Administration or any related field.
    • Minimum of five years’ experience in providing administrative support; preferably at an institution of higher learning.

    Completed degrees from an accredited institution that is above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience.

    The successful candidate will be expected to assume duties in Antigua on September 1, 2026.
