Industrial action has disrupted operations at the Office of National Drug Control and Money Laundering Policy after employees raised concerns about unhealthy conditions at the Camp Blizzard facility.
People’s Union General Secretary Andie Stephen said workers acted following a Department of Analytical Services report that flagged mold and moisture issues inside the building. She said repeated appeals from staff and the union went unanswered, prompting the decision to withdraw their labour.
Stephen said employees will remain off the job until a new inspection is conducted and the outstanding issues are resolved.
