PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad — Caribbean Airlines is expanding its network with a new nonstop service between Tobago and Toronto, the return of passenger flights between Trinidad and Caracas, and seasonal charter flights between Trinidad and Panama.
The airline announced Thursday that
weekly nonstop flights between Tobago and Toronto will begin Oct. 25
, operating on Sundays.
The service will provide a direct connection between Tobago and one of its major international tourism markets ahead of the peak winter travel season. The Toronto-Tobago route is also reflected in recent travel-industry reporting on the airline’s planned October launch.
Caribbean Airlines will also
resume commercial passenger service between Trinidad and Caracas, Venezuela, on Oct. 31
. The airline said the restored route is intended to improve connectivity and support business and tourism between the neighbouring countries. Its current online network includes both Port of Spain and Caracas.
Another expansion will begin Dec. 1, when Caribbean Airlines launches a series of
charter flights between Trinidad and Panama
on selected Tuesdays and Fridays.
Those flights are scheduled to operate through Feb. 9, 2027, providing additional travel options during the Christmas and Carnival periods.
Caribbean Airlines said the three services are part of efforts to give passengers greater travel choices while strengthening tourism, trade and regional and international connectivity.
