    Minister George Discusses Future Collaboration with Officials of Antigua Distillery Limited

    Minister of Sports and Creative Industries Dwayne George met and held discussions on Friday 14th August 2026 with Antigua Distillery Limited’s Managing Director Anthony Bento and its Group Business Development Manager Ed Mathurin.

    Discussions centered on Antigua Distillery’s future collaborations in Sports and the Creative Industries at the national and constituency levels.

    On Thursday, during the official launch of Antigua and Barbuda’s 45th Anniversary of Independence, Minister Dwayne George announced Premier Beverages as a major sponsor of the celebration.

    Premier Beverages, part of Antigua Distillery Limited’s group of companies, will produce a special 45th Anniversary commemorative bottle of English Harbour Rum and will also supply the official water for Independence 2026 and the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
