The Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross Society has issued an urgent appeal for O-positive blood donors to assist Deja Dyer, who is in need of blood.

In a public notice, the organization called on eligible donors to visit the Blood Bank at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to make a donation.

The Red Cross emphasized that every blood donation has the potential to save a life and urged members of the public to come forward and provide support.

Persons seeking additional information about the donation process can contact the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross Society at 462-0800.

The appeal comes as healthcare officials continue to rely on voluntary blood donations to meet the needs of patients requiring transfusions and other critical medical care.
