Staff at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre gathered for a memorial walk in honour of Consultant Surgeon Dr. Subbiah Radhakrishnan, celebrating his life and contributions to healthcare in Antigua and Barbuda.

The event brought together doctors, nurses, administrators and support staff, who reflected on his years of dedicated service and the impact he had on colleagues and patients.

Affectionately known as Dr. Krishnan, he was remembered for his surgical expertise, professionalism and commitment to high-quality patient care. Colleagues also praised his willingness to mentor younger medical professionals and his compassionate approach to medicine.

Participants described the walk as a tribute to a respected physician whose influence on the medical community will be long remembered.
