Police are investigating the killing of Sheldon Diaz following a violent incident in the Makpon Squat area east of All Saints on Thursday.

Diaz reportedly sustained multiple wounds during the confrontation. Residents said he attempted to flee but was overtaken in a nearby yard.

A man and a woman are in police custody assisting investigators as inquiries continue into the circumstances surrounding the death.

No charges have been announced.
