A man escaped injury after shots were reportedly fired at his vehicle while driving near Simon Boulevard Park on Tuesday night.

Police said the victim reported that another man travelling in a separate vehicle allegedly pulled out a firearm and opened fire while both vehicles were moving. The complainant told investigators the bullets missed him and he was not injured during the incident.

According to the report, the suspect then sped off toward a nearby side road before police arrived on the scene.

Officers later searched the surrounding area, but neither the suspect nor the vehicle was located.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
