LIVE FIRE TRAINING EXERCISE AT CRABBS TRAINING AREA

The Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) wishes to inform the general public that a live shooting training exercise will be conducted on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, at the Crabbs Training Area between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Residents and individuals in neighbouring communities are advised not to panic if loud sounds or gunfire are heard during the scheduled training period, as these activities form part of routine military exercises.

The ABDF Coast Guard also advises all mariners to stay clear of the coastal waters near the Crabbs Training Area for the duration of the exercise to ensure the safety of all personnel and sea users.

The Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force reassures the public that safety remains a top priority as we continue to conduct essential training sessions to maintain operational readiness and national security.
