Police are investigating a home invasion at Penny Lane, Upper Fort Road, after two masked men armed with machetes reportedly robbed residents during an early morning attack on May 5.

According to reports, the intruders entered the home around 2 a.m. through a window that was not locked before confronting a male occupant in his bedroom.

The man told police one of the suspects demanded a shoulder bag containing cash, identification cards, a cellular phone and a vehicle key. A struggle reportedly followed while a second intruder dragged a female occupant into a hallway.

The woman told investigators she was robbed of her iPhone 15 Pro and EC$350 after being threatened by a masked man armed with a machete.

Police said the suspects escaped with cash, phones and other personal items before officers arrived on the scene.

Investigators later observed signs of forced entry and processed the property for evidence. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
