Sir Richie Richardson extends heartfelt thanks to all sponsors and participants following the successful staging of the Sir Richie Richardson Charity Golf Day on April 11, 2026.

The event brought together golfers from the US, Canada, UK, St Kitts and Antigua, corporate partners, and community supporters for a day of friendly competition and camaraderie, all in aid of meaningful charitable causes. Thanks to the generous contributions and enthusiastic participation, the tournament successfully raised both funds and awareness for several important initiatives.

Proceeds from the event will benefit programs such as the Striving for Excellence Gold Academy and the Kiwanis Bright Minds Project, both dedicated to empowering youth and advancing educational development. Additional support was also directed toward Kimesha Anthony, Antigua and the Caribbean’s former number one women’s golfer, underscoring the event’s commitment to nurturing local talent.

Sir Richie Richardson expressed deep appreciation for the continued support:

“Your partnership and generosity continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many. We are truly grateful and look forward to your ongoing support as we work together to strengthen our community.”

The success of this year’s charity golf day highlights the impact of collaboration and shared purpose, with organizers already looking ahead to building on this momentum in future events.

Reflecting on a memorable moment, Sir Richie added:

“As President of the Striving for Excellence Golf Academy, I was overwhelmed with emotion when it was announced that the overall winning team included 15-year-old Clairmont Carringt and 16-year-old Lovanjo Weekes, both of whom are under the tutelage of Coach Bobby James.”
