Elderly Man Injured in Early-Morning Road Incident

An elderly man is in stable condition after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday near the Landing Strip Bar and Restaurant.

Emergency Medical Services transported the man, believed to be about 65 years old, to hospital with a cut to his forehead and bruises to his arms and elbow.

Police said the incident is not being treated as a hit-and-run. The circumstances remain under investigation.
