    LETTER: Still No Backpay

At this point, I’m starting to think someone at the Treasury is personally trying to sabotage Gaston Browne. It really cannot be that difficult to pay people the little money they’re owed.

As a former government worker, the initial deadline for receiving backpay was December 31st, then January, then March. Now it’s April 1st. I went into the Treasury today and came out without my money. It’s seriously ridicuous.

I’ve left working for the government for a while now and would like to close this nightmare with what I am duly OWED.

Calling Treasury and getting someone to pick up the phone is a rare event and going into the department, they can’t give you a definitive answer.

The Prime Minister has allegedly told the Treasury to process payments less than 20k. I wish that the government had 20,0000 for me.

They don’t, so why can’t I get my meagre backpay?
