Work has begun on the restoration of a 1.2 million imperial gallon water storage tank at Crabbs, as part of ongoing efforts to upgrade the country’s water infrastructure.

Utilities Minister Melford Nicholas shared a video update on the project, stating that the rehabilitation forms part of broader improvements within the Water Utilities system.

“Restoration of this 1.2 million imperial gallon storage tank is underway at Crabbs. The infrastructural development and renovation of the country’s Water Utilities continues apace,” Nicholas said in the post.

The project is expected to enhance water storage capacity and support more reliable distribution in surrounding communities, as authorities continue to address longstanding supply challenges.

Officials have not yet indicated a timeline for completion.
