An urgent appeal has been issued for blood donations for Iola Hill, also known as Kyah, of Villa, who is in immediate need of blood.

According to the appeal circulated on Monday, Hill requires either B-negative or O-negative blood. Members of the public who are eligible to donate are being asked to visit Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre as soon as possible.

The family said the donation is critical and could be life-saving during what they described as a very difficult period.

Blood donations are accepted Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Members of the public who are able to assist are being encouraged to do so promptly, as the need is urgent.
