The University of the West Indies (UWI) Global Campus, Antigua and Barbuda, hosted its third annual Honour Roll Ceremony on Thursday, November 6, 2025, celebrating the academic excellence of its top-performing students.

The event, held on campus and attended by distinguished guests including Senator Michael Joseph, marked a milestone year for two key reasons.

The campus recognized its largest cohort of honourees to date, with 83 students earning places on the Honour Roll.

Notably, 35 of these students achieved the distinction in both Semester I and Semester II, accounting for 42% of the awardees. This accomplishment reflects exceptional consistency and dedication.

This year’s ceremony was also historic as postgraduate students were recognized for the first time, highlighting their ability to excel while balancing advanced studies with professional and personal commitments.

Campus leaders commended the honourees for their resilience, discipline, and commitment to excellence, noting that they exemplify the qualities of the model UWI student. Families and supporters were also celebrated for their encouragement and vital role in each student’s success.

The ceremony concluded with a reminder that academic excellence is an ongoing journey. The campus extended heartfelt congratulations to all honourees of the 2024–2025 academic year and expressed confidence in their continued success.
