The Antigua Barbuda Evangelical Alliance (ABEA) will host its annual Prayer-Cade on Sunday, Aug. 2, as part of this year’s Emancipation Day observances.

The event is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Old Parliament Building , where participants will gather before embarking on an island-wide motorcade.

According to organizers, the motorcade will make stops across various communities for prayers focused on Antigua and Barbuda, its people and the nation.

The ABEA is encouraging churches, families and members of the public to participate in the annual event, which combines a public display of faith with prayers for communities throughout the country.

The Prayer-Cade is held each year in observance of Emancipation Day and aims to unite participants in prayer while traveling through communities across the island.

For additional information, organizers can be contacted at (268) 781-2899 or (268) 725-0282.
