Three young athletes will represent Antigua and Barbuda at the 2026 World Athletics U20 Championships in Oregon, United States.
The Antigua and Barbuda Athletic Association named Kettia Ambrose, Tyra Fenton and Kasiya Daley to the national team for the competition, scheduled for Aug. 5-9 at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon.
Ambrose will compete in the women’s 200 and 400 metres, while Fenton will contest the women’s 200 metres. Daley will represent the country in the men’s 100 and 200 metres.
Coach Teddy Daley and team leader Jo-Ann Small will accompany the athletes.
The championships will bring together leading junior athletes from around the world. The association wished the national delegation safe travels and success as the athletes prepare to compete on the international stage.
