The Antigua Trades and Labour Union (AT&LU) has announced the availability of 10 scholarships for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Global Campus Antigua and Barbuda.

According to the union, the initiative forms part of its ongoing commitment to empowering members through educational opportunities and professional development.

The scholarships are open to AT&LU members who have been with the union for more than two years and who meet the prerequisites established by the UWI Global Campus.

Interested applicants are required to submit their interest by email to the union between April 24 and May 11, 2026, indicating the course they wish to pursue. A drawing to determine the 10 successful applicants is scheduled to take place live on ABS Television on May 13.

The courses form part of UWI Global Campus’ 10-week short course programme, which begins during the week of May 25 and covers areas including customer service management, effective management and leadership, entrepreneurship and business, financial management, human resource management, project management, supervisory management, real estate economics and appraisals, and working with family and community.

Classes will be delivered online, with tuition fees ranging from EC$650 to EC$800 depending on the course selected.

The UWI Global Campus Antigua and Barbuda has set May 15, 2026 as the application deadline for the programme.
