Police are investigating the death of an elderly man who was found unresponsive at his home in Ovals on Wednesday morning, ABS reported.

First responders were called to the residence after the discovery was made during the mid-morning hours.

The man was subsequently confirmed dead.

Authorities have so far reported no signs suggesting foul play.

Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death are continuing.
