    Young tourism professionals discussed career opportunities and leadership with Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism minister during the SOTIC Future Leaders Forum.

    The minister took part in “From the Classroom to the Caribbean: Conversations with Tourism Leaders,” a session connecting young people with experienced figures in the regional industry.

    Discussions focused on building careers in tourism, exploring opportunities across the Caribbean and preparing the next generation to help guide the sector’s development.

    The forum also highlighted the value of mentorship and giving young professionals space to share ideas as the industry adapts to changing demands.

    Youth development was a central theme, with participants examining how access to experienced leaders can help emerging professionals prepare for greater responsibility and contribute to a stronger regional tourism sector.
