To further contribute towards expanding partnership between India and Antigua & Barbuda, the delegation led by Ms Simran, Under Secretary of Development Partnership Administration, India- DPA, Ministry of External Affairs,
Government
of India and a NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS) team headed by Mr Pushphas Pandey paid courtesy calls on Hon’ble Prime Minister of Antigua & Barbuda, Mr Gaston Browne and Hon’ble Foreign Minister, Trade and Immigration of Antigua & Barbuda, Mr E P Chet Greene.
The delegation also met with Hon’ble Anthony Smith Jr, Minister of Agriculture, Lands and the Blue Economy. The High Commission of India in Guyana accredited to Antigua and Barbuda was represented by Hon. Consul of India in Antigua & Barbuda, Mr Vijay Tewani.
The delegation made site visits to Crispa Wholesale & Distribution Company Ltd. and A & B Farms Ltd. in connection with India’s SEEDS (Supply of Equipment for Efficient Development of SMEs) initiative of development partnership program aimed at supporting nations in the Global South.
