The police have once again renewed their appeal for Janiah Antoine of Golden Grove to surrender himself without further delay.

Antoine is wanted in connection with the ongoing investigation into the murder of 60-year-old Mordecai Eleazar Francis of Swetes.

The police have intensified their search for the wanted suspect, and are calling upon him to immediately surrender himself at the nearest police station and cooperate with investigators. Police are also appealing directly to his relatives, friends, and associates to use whatever influence they may have to encourage him to surrender peacefully.

The general public is further reminded that harbouring or concealing a wanted fugitive, or knowingly assisting that person to evade lawful arrest, is an offence. Anyone found to be deliberately providing shelter, transportation, or other support for the purpose of helping Antoine evade the authorities will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913/3914, Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station.
