A total of 587 pairs of reading glasses have been distributed so far under the Prime Minister’s Vision Initiative in Antigua and Barbuda.
The programme provides free vision screenings and reading glasses, where appropriate, to people 40 years and older.
The Ministry of Health is encouraging eligible residents to visit the Villa Community Center, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., to access the service.
The initiative is aimed at helping residents improve their vision and quality of life.
