    Shark Attack Leaves Urlings Fisherman Fighting to Save Hand – Antigua News Room

    A shark attack has left a young Urlings fisherman hospitalized with severe injuries sustained while spearfishing on Tuesday.

    The fisherman was reportedly in the water with two companions when the shark struck, causing extensive damage to one of his hands. Fellow fishermen quickly came to his aid before he was taken for emergency treatment.

    He remains hospitalized as the fishing community reacts to the incident.

    Several fishermen have reported seeing increasing numbers of sharks in coastal waters around Urlings in recent months, prompting concerns about safety for those who depend on the sea for work and recreation.
