Sports Minister, ABFA Discuss Plans for Football Development
Sports Minister Dwayne George recently met with the executive of the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) to discuss strategies aimed at advancing football across the country.
According to information released by the ABFA, the meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the Ministry of Sports and the national football body while identifying opportunities to support the sport’s growth.
Discussions included player development, infrastructure improvements and initiatives designed to create greater opportunities for athletes at all levels.
The parties also explored ways to enhance collaboration between the government and the ABFA as part of efforts to build a stronger foundation for football in Antigua and Barbuda.
George reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the sport and fostering partnerships that contribute to its continued development.
The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts to improve sporting opportunities and strengthen football programmes nationwide.
