The Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) has contributed EC$20,000 to Panache Steel Orchestra as a gold sponsor for the 2026 National Panorama season.

The sponsorship was announced by the orchestra in a social media post on Friday, where it thanked the CIU for supporting its preparations for the annual steelband competition.

Panache Steel Orchestra described the contribution as an investment in culture, youth development and the continued growth of the steelband movement in Antigua and Barbuda.

The group said the support would help it create opportunities for its members and maintain its commitment to musical excellence during the Panorama season.

“As an unsponsored steel orchestra striving to create opportunities and uphold excellence, partnerships like this make a meaningful difference in our journey,” the orchestra said in its statement.

The orchestra also expressed gratitude to the CIU for believing in its vision and helping to sustain steel pan music in Antigua and Barbuda.

A presentation ceremony was held at the CIU’s offices, where representatives of the orchestra received a ceremonial cheque for EC$20,000.

The 2026 National Panorama competition forms part of Antigua and Barbuda’s Carnival celebrations and brings together steel orchestras from across the country.
