ABFA Congratulates Greenbay Hoppers and Freemansville Scorpions on Promotion Success
The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association has congratulated Greenbay Hoppers FC after the club captured the 2026–2027 First Division title and secured promotion to the Antigua Premier League.
In a statement marking the close of the season, the ABFA praised the players, coaches, management and supporters of Greenbay Hoppers for what it described as an outstanding campaign.
The association also congratulated Freemansville Scorpions on earning promotion to the Antigua Premier League for the upcoming 2026–2027 season.
Attention now turns to the Premier/First Division playoffs, where Swetes FC, SAP FC and Green City FC will compete for the final place in the top flight.
Meanwhile, English Harbour FC, Real Blizzard FC and Police FC are set to contest the First Division/Second Division playoffs for the remaining First Division spot next season.
The ABFA also acknowledged the efforts of Blue Jays FC, Bendals FC, Bolans FC and FC Master Ballers following their relegation, commending the clubs for their contribution and commitment throughout the season.
As the curtain came down on the First Division campaign, the association thanked clubs, players, coaches, referees, sponsors and supporters for their role in the continued growth and development of football in Antigua and Barbuda.
