Let me tell the UPP a secret. It’s called the em dash. The em dash is a long dash that looks like this: –

It is often used by AI tools and is a “tell” that something is written by AI. Not only is their ChatGPT manifesto chock full of em dashes, but, the response to the ABLP’s criticism of the manifesto also includes a number of em dashes.

Now, to be fair to the UPP, it might not be ChatGPT, it might be Anthropic’s Claude or Google’s Gemini or X’s Grok. But, regardless, it is AI.

Now, why is this an issue? Because it’s a sign of their weakness. It’s a sign of their laziness. It is a sign that they are just not ready for government.

If you cannot even write a manifesto or write a press release or have the intelligence to remove the em dashes to hide your use of Artificial Intelligence, it is clear that you’re not ready to govern this country.
