The University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus has honoured dozens of students for strong academic performance in the first semester of the 2025–2026 year, naming recipients to the Honour Roll and the Principal’s List.

The recognition ceremony, attended in person and online, was addressed by Campus Registrar Dr. Camille Samuel on behalf of Principal Professor Justin Robinson. She said the awards reflect the campus’s focus on student success and close monitoring of academic progress.

“This evening’s ceremony is about recognising your academic excellence,” Samuel said, noting the institution’s efforts to support retention and performance.

The Honour Roll recognises high semester GPAs, while the Principal’s List is reserved for students who maintain top results throughout their programme.

Samuel urged students to see the recognition as a starting point, not an endpoint.

“We will be releasing you into a world that does not reward potential. It rewards execution,” she said, encouraging honourees to apply their skills toward broader community impact.
