Antigua and Barbuda is gearing up to host the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association Caribbean Travel Marketplace 44 from May 12 – 15 2026 in the heart of the destination’s annual Culinary Month.

Set against the backdrop of Antigua and Barbuda’s Culinary Month, regional and international buyers and suppliers will have the opportunity to conduct business while immersing themselves in the destination’s vibrant culinary scene.

Antigua and Barbuda is the 2025 recipient of the ‘Caribbean’s Best Emerging Culinary City Destination’ title from the World Culinary Awards, an indication of the destination’s growing reputation as a culinary hotspot in the region.

Colin C. James, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, said: “Culinary Month provides food lovers from around the world with a unique opportunity to experience our cuisine, culture and people. It’s timing with Caribbean Travel Marketplace will allow our industry partners to engage with the destination in an authentic way.”

During their stay, delegates will receive an Antigua and Barbuda Culinary Month Passport, unlocking exclusive perks at participating restaurants. They will also have the opportunity to experience Eat Like A Local, a curated selection of island cookshops led by Antiguan and Barbudan chefs. Additionally, delegates can enjoy island-wide prix fixe menus during the Restaurant Week which runs from May 3 – 17, with more than 50 local restaurants offering specially curated menus at three price points: US$25, US$50 and US$75.

Delegates are encouraged to incorporate Culinary Month experiences into their Marketplace schedules.

On May 14, Culinary Crawl, an evening dine-around tour showcasing Antigua and Barbuda’s amazing southside restaurant scene will be available for booking. For reservations, contact Kayla.Christian@visitaandb.com or Abena.Merchant@visitaandb.com
