Constable Anestine Massicot of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has distinguished herself through exemplary performance in an intensive international police training programme held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Being the only participant selected for the prestigious IACP/UAE Ministry of Interior Police Academy Exchange Programme, the young officer successfully completed the course in January 2026, demonstrating professionalism, discipline, adaptability, and a strong commitment to excellence throughout the training period.

According to her instructors, she displayed keen analytical thinking, strong attention to detail, and an impressive ability to apply policing concepts during both theoretical instruction and scenario-based practical exercises.

It is said that her conduct reflected a clear understanding of professional standards, marked by punctuality, respect, accountability, and a composed manner in all interactions with instructors, staff, and fellow trainees.

In October 2024, Constables Theona Pascal, Jahmesha Daniel, and Shawn Silston were selected for the same programme, and they too successfully completed the course in January 2025.

Spanning four to five months depending on the training cycle, the programme immerses participants in a structured academy environment that includes physical fitness training, drill and discipline, practical policing exercises, and academic studies.

All programme costs, including travel, accommodation, meals, training materials, and medical insurance, are fully funded by the UAE Ministry of Interior, reflecting a strong commitment to international cooperation and capacity building.

This level of training underscores the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda’s ongoing commitment to continuous professional development, international collaboration, and strengthening the relationship with international law enforcement professionals.

On behalf of Commissioner of Police Everton Jeffers, the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda extends heartfelt congratulations to Constable Anestine Massicot on her outstanding achievement. The Commissioner also expresses sincere appreciation to the IACP/UAE Ministry of Interior Police Academy Exchange Programme for the invaluable training opportunity and continued partnership in advancing professional policing standards.
