Police have laid multiple charges in connection with a break-in at Ottos Comprehensive School that left a classroom damaged and several items missing.
Officers responded to reports of an intruder on the compound around 3:45 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, and later found signs of forced entry, including a smashed window. According to investigators, classroom supplies and personal products were taken during the burglary.
While searching the vicinity, police encountered a Villa resident carrying a bag containing items believed to have been stolen from the school. He was arrested on the spot and taken into custody.
The man has since been charged with building break-in and larceny, along with malicious damage.
