Antiguan hospitality professional Auslando Davis has been selected for the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation’s Global Beverage Scholarship.

Davis, assistant food and beverage manager at Curtain Bluff, was chosen from a competitive field of applicants worldwide.

The scholarship will allow him to attend the 24th annual Tales of the Cocktail Conference in New Orleans from July 19-26, where he will engage with international beverage industry leaders and further develop his professional expertise.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to learn from some of the best in the global beverage industry and bring that knowledge and experience back home to Antigua and Barbuda,” Davis said.

“I look forward to applying what I learn to support, mentor and inspire bartenders and emerging beverage professionals as we continue to elevate the standard of our local hospitality industry.”

His selection places Antigua and Barbuda among the countries represented at the international conference, which brings together beverage professionals from around the world.
