Antigua and Barbuda has wrapped up participation in the 17th edition of the Saint Martin / St. Maarten Annual Regional Tradeshow (SMART Tradeshow).

Representing the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority were Charmaine Spencer, Director of Tourism for the Caribbean and Latin America, and Maria Blackman, Marketing Communications Manager.

They were joined by the Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association’s Executive Director Patrice Simon, and Communications and Marketing Officer, Lydia Paul.

SMART 2024 provided a valuable platform for engaging with travel trade partners from the Caribbean, Latin America, and beyond, fostering opportunities to increase business to Antigua and Barbuda.

The Antigua and Barbuda team also joined with the Caribbean Hotels and Tourism Association to extend invitations to tourism authorities from across the region, and members of the travel trade present at SMART, to participate in Caribbean Travel Marketplace taking place in Antigua from May 18 – May 22.
