An Ottos New Town woman is seeking justice after she was injured during a confrontation with her teenage daughter’s boyfriend early Monday morning.
The woman was treated at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for a head injury after an altercation shortly after midnight. Police are investigating.
She told investigators that she struck the young man with an aluminium stick during the dispute and alleged that he responded by hitting her in the head with a small stone, causing a bleeding wound.
The woman said the incident stems from an ongoing dispute involving her 16-year-old daughter and the daughter’s boyfriend. “I am tired. I want justice for my pain and suffering,” she said.
