Thieves made off with 40 cases of beer worth about EC$3,000 after breaking into a shipping container at a property in Marble Hill over the weekend.

Police said the theft occurred between Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. The beer had been stored inside a 40-foot container, and investigators believe the culprits forced open a padlock to gain access.
