Students and staff of Bendals Primary School are set to benefit from improved water storage capacity following the donation of water tanks by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Antigua.
The contribution forms part of the organization’s ongoing Adopt-A-School Initiative, a programme aimed at supporting educational institutions through practical assistance and community engagement projects.
The donation was spearheaded by JCI Antigua’s Youth Empowerment Committee, and was formally presented during a brief ceremony.
Speaking during the presentation, JCI Antigua President Collet Gordon extended best wishes to students preparing to sit their Common Entrance Examinations, encouraging them to approach the milestone with confidence and determination. Youth Empowerment Committee Chairman Jawan Jackson also offered words of encouragement, emphasizing the importance of education, perseverance, and community support in helping young people achieve their goals.
The Principal of Bendals Primary School expressed sincere appreciation for the donation, noting that the water tanks will serve as a valuable resource for the institution. The Principal welcomed the contribution and thanked JCI Antigua for its continued investment in the well-being and development of students.
The donation reflects JCI Antigua’s broader mission of creating positive change through sustainable community initiatives. Through its Adopt-A-School Programme, the organization continues to partner with schools across Antigua and Barbuda to address identified needs while fostering stronger connections between young leaders and their communities.
