The Antigua & Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA) continues to set the bar for excellence in hospitality! On March 18-19, we hosted an impactful Housekeeping Certification 2-Day Course, designed to refine skills in professionalism, cleaning techniques, towel artistry, and customer service.

Facilitated by industry expert Patricia Tully, CHHE, CHE, the training empowered participants with hands-on knowledge to enhance service quality and efficiency.

    Patricia Tully shared:

“It was a very good training session….Participants received customer service training and self-development guidance alongside housekeeping techniques, ensuring they deliver high-quality guest service with professionalism and excellence.”

Among the enthusiastic participants Colin Jonas, Houseman at Blue Waters Resort & Spa, shared:

“It truly was an invaluable experience! Ms. Tully’s teaching approach made everything easy to learn. I know that what I’ve learned will not only make me a better professional but also help me grow as an individual.”

Fitmaurize Christian, VP of Awesome Development Ventures, who sent four (4) of his staff members, emphasized:

“You cannot expect excellence in service without investing in your staff. Training like this fosters an ownership culture, leading to better service and customer satisfaction.”

A huge thank you to all participants and supporters who continue to champion professional development in hospitality!
