Paperless ED Card Testing Nears Completion The government of Antigua and Barbuda is finalizing testing of its new paperless ED card system for travelers. Technology Minister Melford Nicholas says the system has been in live testing for five to six weeks and is close to full implementation, expected by the end of March. The digital entry/departure cards, completed 48 to 24 hours before travel, aim to streamline processing at VC Bird International Airport and reduce contact with immigration officers. A final announcement is expected by week’s end.
